9 times out of 10

If I dont do laundry soon I'll be wearing sweat pants and silk blouses to class next week. As I look down into my hamper of neutral colors and old sorority tshirts I can't help but notice that I've been wearing almost the SAME OUTFIT to class for the last....2 months? maybe 3? Yikes!

9 times out of 10 I'm running out the door in a white button up, skinny jeans in a dark wash and my trusted cece flats all polished off with my pearl earrings (which I think I've worn almost every day for the past 2 years) and of course my DY cuff to add something to my wrist besides a hairtie.

Daily Go-To
My trusted go to outfit. Something I'm sure Audrey would be proud of.

I absolutely love this outfit just because it is such a classic...that and I think I watched Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's too many times last fall. I have a small obsession with Audrey Hepburn, nothing like my love for Kate Middleton and the Royals, but enough that I find myself buying a majority of things in black and white. You're probably thinking, this girl was just talking about adding color in her life and now she's only dressing in neutrals?!? You're right, I know I know. I need to start dressing out of my comfort zone. I mean don't get me wrong I aboslutely LOVE to dress up. If I could wear a cocktail dress to class everyday I probably would...but I just don't see that happening (at least not this week). So I guess my goal for the next week is to add some more color into my wardrobe. Sounds easy enough right? I guess we'll see.

What are your goals this week? No, I don't mean your life goals or anything too serious of that nature, your wardrobe goals! Are you ready to retire your winter jacket? Layer a few extra pieces of jewelry on your wrist? Maybe you want to wear more lace or patterns? Whatever it is, go for it! Spring is finally here. Now is the best time to start transitioning your closet and making changes! It's Saturday...so why not start tonight!

xoxo
