Middleton Monday

First off...Happy Anniversary Wills and Kate!

To celebrate this extra special Middleton Monday lets take a look at Kate’s most recent appearance. On her second wedding anniversary our favorite Duchess visited the Naomi House in Sutton Scotney to market the start of Children’s Hospice Week…OMG LOVE HER.
Yes we all adore her charity work and her kindhearted generous self but let’s talk about her outfit! Her fabulous jacket and radiant preggers glow made her look absolutely stunning today– I loved the refreshing peach, it wasn’t one of those pale gross peachy colors, but vibrant and rich.
But seriously, how cute is she!

Like it. Love it. Gotta have it.
The coat was the Tara Jamron Cotton Twill Coat, and I need it. The £380 coat features two front slit pockets, it’s fully lined, has a vent in the back and button fastenings through the front. This might be my favorite pregnant Kate look…but her St. Patrick’s day look is a close second. This is the first time we’ve seen the Dutchess in Tara Jarmon. The Paris based Canadian designer is known for her simple clean lines and I’m hoping this isn’t the last time we see Kate in this label.

Happy Middleton Monday!

Shame & Pair of Dice

Yet another weekend comes and goes and I have nothing to show but a lack of memory, a few battle wounds and a headache.

Sometimes I have the feeling of regret….or shame…but then I realize, I’m only 23 and it is going to be ok. These are just growing pains right?

If you have ever woken up with this feeling and need your friends to explain to you the events of the prior evening, I suggest you watch The Hangover and blast Pair of Dice. It helps, I promise.

I did that, and now I’m ready to get back in the saddle. 5 days until the weekend!

Currently Obsessed

So this morning I was going through my regular routine getting ready for class, and then it hit me…I LOVE MY MASCARA! A few weeks ago I went to MACY’s to get a new Bronzer…Bronze Goddess obviiii. I did this in order to get the gift with purchase which was FABULOUS to say the least. Lilly Pulitzer and Estee Lauder collaborated to make some great gifts this spring. Anyway, after I picked up my bronzer I wandered around because I just love the make up and perfume counters…and the jewelry of course. I just like the atmosphere. If I weren’t getting my MBA I would love to spend a year or so working behind the counter of either perfume or fine jewelry. I feel like I could sell sand at the beach with my stand out personality.

Anyway, I remembered using a small sample mascara from Clinique that I had gotten with my free gift a few months ago, and I liked it a lot….like A LOT. I usually throw in a sample mascara in my clutch when I go out just in case. So I wandered to the Clinique counter and told the woman about my great experience with the mascara, but I had forgotten which particular one it was. She quickly re-introduced me to one of my new favorite products; Clinique's High Impact Mascara.

Ladies, it is actually fabulous. It goes on so smooth and you don’t’ have to worry about clumping. I know when I’m going out I like to put on a few layers of mascara, ok maybe more than a few. But I also wanted a mascara that would look good if I just swiped on a layer for a softer everyday look. It’s the perfect mascara that you can wear alone or with full eye make up, and it can be all yours for only $16!

Usually after a while of using the same tube, it starts to dry out and it’s a pain to apply. I haven’t run into any problem of that nature with this one. It coats so well and works for any type of lashes.

Do you have a mascara you swear by?

Jeah!

If you haven't learned already, Ryan Lochte now has his own reality show on E! called What Would Ran Lochte Do?

My first thought...JEAH!

Ok ok, I know what you’re thinking - I can’t believe this guy has his own show. Lochte doesn’t necessarily have the best reputation for being…well for being able to hold an intelligent conversation. But is that any reason to dislike him!?! I SAY NO! Don’t judge a book by its cover people! But then again I’m biased. You see, I fell in love with him during the 2012 Olympic games and eventually talked myself into thinking it was a great idea to meet him…then eventually fall in love and get married –naturally I believed this was a realistic plan. But now after watching the first episode, I’m starting to rethink my pre-MBA days and my thoughts on love. OHMYGOD…am I maturing and making better decisions about my personal life?!?!

Although it was almost painful to get through, I managed to get through the entire episode, and the guy had some stand out quotes.

Lets take a look at some of my favorites shall we?

Lochte sister: You take every girl in the same college town to the same sushi restaurant?
Lochte: It might be the same place, it might be the same table, but it's a different girl.

"One of my favorite movies is What Women Want, the Mel Gibson one."

Interviewer: How many medals do you have?
Lochte: Oh I don't even remember what I got at the Olympics.

"What's being talked about a lot is 'Ryan Lochte the American douchebag.' Douchebag? I don't even know what is a douchebag, like what is it? Like what is the definition? ....Like I really don't know what it means, do you know?"

"If you're a man at night, you have to be a man in the morning."

"JEAH!"

So its pretty obvious he lacks a filter with some of the things he says...but maybe he's still getting used to the camera? Either way, I'm going to keep watching...I mean he might lack intelligence at times, but he's SO CUTE!

Dreamboat.

Will you be tuning in next Sunday to watch?
